The Standard Loop Layout
This is the most common dog fence layout for larger properties with the power source being in the middle of a block and having the wire go around all four sides of the boundary.
Double Loop Layout
Using this dog fence layout you can block less than the 4 sides of the square, or just cover a driveway if that is the only place the dog can get out. It is common that if the easiest escape option is blocked, the dog may seek an alternative way out.
Backyard Loop Layout
This is the most common dog fence loop for suburban backyards where the house makes up one side of the boundary. It can be done with either a standard loop or a double loop.
